If light could be stored in a limited space and then unfolded in different environments, it would evoke the same sense of mystery as opening a blind box.

 

Each intersection of light and shadow in daily life becomes the starting point of a story, where light and shadow narrate like a silent poem. Observing the interplay of light and darkness illuminating objects and capturing the transformative process of sunlight over time allows us to simplify the complexity of everyday experiences. In doing so, we liberate ourselves from habitual visual perceptions and tense mental states, entering a space of fluid transformation.

 

This exploration further considers the contours of objects from a backlit perspective, imagining how unknown light sources illuminate architectural structures and furnishings within the space to create dynamic light and shadow. Through the flickering of light and the process of viewers’ gaze and pupil contraction, the focus and defocus of objects in the scene are altered, shifting the way the space is perceived.
