Wu Wei-Ting (born 1996 in Yunlin, Taiwan; currently lives and works in Taipei and Taoyuan). His practice stems from a reflection on the loosened psychological states found in everyday life, constructing light and delicate situations through “sculptural space” and “site-specific production.” He works extensively with marble sculpture, light, video, and mixed media, and discovers ambiguous object relations within architectural and spatial structures to reveal the subtle gaps that connect to daily experience. His work further focuses on the gravitational layers generated by “emptiness” between time and materiality, allowing these often overlooked relationships to be newly perceived and seen.
