We tend to become attached to virtual signals and gradually lose the sense of spirituality as regard to how physical space affects the sensory site. There exist perception issues difficult to differentiate when it comes to surpassing and deconstructing the sensing and illusion-led interpretations of phenomena involving everyday objects and spatial sites. Given the various misunderstandings, noises such as light, smell, sound, and architectural space, often lead to an uncanny sense of realness in judgment, thus compelling us to notice details in a space and things from a microscopic perspective to filter noises and organize messages. 

 

Using architectural structures to hypothesize conditions and noise variations, this work spreads across the exhibition based on the idea of encompassment to create relational objects of ambivalence, and marks important scenarios through layers in framing. The blankness in the space and the darkness in the foreground are followed by an eventual window scene that serves as an outlet of the spatial layers. Meanwhile, the elusive yet calming scent of sandalwood is like a traveler lingering momentarily, facilitating a sensory connection between the components and the environment, while serving as a means to erase boundaries. 

 

In sites and scenarios of changing space-time as well as the everyday life mixed with noises, “we coexist with objects, and no one can live without the world.” That is, our life is built upon the live experiences rendered by the massive data of object images—it is immersed in the irreplaceable “liveness.”
